Does anyone know of a good portable Crib?
We have a 4.5 month-old baby and has been sleeping in a bed Amby but looks a little squashed there. We travel to work all the time, so I'm looking for a Portable Crib (not a pack and play, not sleep well at night on them) that fit in the trunk of a midsize sedan. Does anyone know of a good?
I have and use a travel cot from Graco Lite ... you see (and can be felt) as a p & P, but the "buffer" is much thicker and padded ... it is also smaller than a traditional p & p to feel more cozy ... travels well maybe worth a try

Tips to treat infant reflux
While more than half of babies experience infant reflux in their first months of life, the condition usually resolves within 12 to 18 months. Often times reflux symptoms are similar to colic or nervousness normal child. Here are some basic guidelines to respond to questions about how to tell if reflux is the culprit and what you can do.
Babies spit up ... much. This occurs because the sphincter lower esophageal (the valve that closes the throat) is not fully developed and allows the soft tissue of fluid between a backup as easy as sank. Usually as the child this will be a minor problem, although it is possible that he or she may have reflux children.
Apart from being quite disgusting, which may be a sign of GERD (severe reflux version resulting in terrible pain, vomiting and weight gain) or pyloric stenosis (a rare disease a narrowed valve prevents stomach contents from emptying properly in the intestines).
You should consult a doctor if your baby resists feeding but seems hungry, not gaining weight, has fewer wet diapers than normal and seems lethargic, spits hard, spit the liquid green or brown, or vomits more than a few tablespoons at a time. If your baby sounds hoarse all the time, has difficulty breathing or shortness of diarrhea, then definitely talk to your doctor about the infection.
During breastfeeding, try to keep your baby in a vertical position slightly by holding, using pillows or a food product, such as nursing positioner tadpole. It is also possible that you are simply feeding your baby too much to time. Try feeding smaller, which could reduce the incidence of regurgitation.
If you are bottle feeding, it is possible want to try a different bottle, such as bottles of Dr. Brown's Natural Flow, which are specially designed to reduce pollution that cause burping bubbles, ear fluid and infant reflux. There are other formulas that your baby might digest better.
For babies with infant reflux and not just milk allergies, Enfamil AR is designed for them. However, if the milk-based formula seems to bother your baby, soy, or hypoallergenic formulas without lactose available.
In fact, approximately 25% of babies in the U.S. are soy-based formulas. Isomil and Prosobee two popular soy-based formulas in the market. Hypoallergenic formulas are: Alimentum, Nutramigen Pregestimil, Neocate and Elecare.
Do not place your baby on his back after eating. A Babies often cry when they are set back after spitting up because the acid will burn and cause added discomfort.
Some products are available, such as "wedge sling tucker /", which is a soft pillow combined with a velcro strap that allows babies to sleep on the stomach on a small hill. Also, the "Amby Baby Hammock" will encourage babies to sleep in a vertical position slightly, instead of establishing in a crib. Another useful product is a diaper "blanket", which facilitates irritability in infants and can help babies who develop infant reflux stress-related agitation.
When all traditional methods fail, medications can treat severe GERD symptoms. Decreased dose Zantac, Nexium, Prilosec and Tagamet have been prescribed for infant reflux. In some cases, surgery can tighten the muscles of the esophagus not working properly associated with reflux.
