What organic crib mattress you bought and how you like it?

We are considering an organic crib mattress for our baby and looking at the many options in Yahoo! Shopping. Some are waterproof, some are wool, etc. looking for a personal recommendation from someone who has purchased one or more organic crib mattresses.

When getting a crib mattress, the first thing you want to search is the firmness. The way to test this is to put hands on each mattess side and pushing in does this in the middle of the mattress when the baby sleeps. The reason you want a firm mattress is to prevent small island. As much as a baby grows during the first year, you want something very strong. If you are sleeping on something soft, their bones grow thereby resulting in large problems later. The best mattress I think it would be a foam mattress with an antibacterial coating. So nothing can get inside a mattress, and there is no cotton or wool inside the mattress. The mattress we recommend is the Colgate Classic III (was blue cover). It is a foam mattress double area, ie if one side of the mattress firmer than the other. The reason for Colgate is not true if the child goes to bed the child can sleep in something a little more litter. Not much padding to harm the child. Get things in the way, as the baby grows and can be see clearly what you need. In this way the baby nursery need not be so expensive.
