Baby furniture will not drain our savings?

We are waiting, and only recently began looking for a Crib and dresser, but .... are discovering that quality comes at too high a price for us. We have seen in U.S. Baby and Babies R Us, but can not seem to find anything it will not cost a fortune! We looked at Target and Walmart, but we are sure that their products last as long as we would like. We are looking for a Convertible Crib so also be a Toddler Bed and finally a double bed. Does anyone know of shops or websites where we can find a decent quality furniture set for less than $ 700???

we bought as a cradle for $ 400 (which is all good quality wood and becomes a toddler bed) actually is a cradle of high quality. we have it at Babies R Us (baby cache heritage crib for life) and then just went to a furniture store and bought a dresser for sale that matched the crib (wood color is similar), but wayyy cheaper than the dressing that comes with the cradle. if you want a crib rather than hard, spend money on buying a crib and dresser economic and everything you want in one place, do not buy the things they sell the home is way too expensive, even nativity scenes are, but one can not avoid that)
