What is the better book to buy a baby shower?

I was invited to a baby shower that you want customers to buy a book for the baby nursery. Not I have no children and its been a while since ive been one. so can someone give me a suggestion of some very cool books for children.

Board books are very good. Brown can Moo pop and hip are the 2 that 1 year old my mom .. Both by Dr. Suess Basically any that I can read the books are good for young people. Books W / textures or ridges in them are very good. If you go to Barnes and Noble is a Baby Peakaboo book in the book section for advice. My daughter loves this! If you receive Books w / flaps, just make sure they are board books that will last. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a great book. Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See by Eric Carle.

Decorating your baby's room? Use low VOC paint!

As a result of the " green living" movement, little or no paint VOCs are becoming more common. If you re 'preparing to paint his s baby nursery, here ' s what you should know about these alternatives new paint.

Traditional Paintings
If you 've history of painting a room in the past with traditional painting probably had to open the windows because of the strong odor. Traditional paints contain volatile organic compounds known as VOCs. VOCs are composed of a variety of chemicals that can negatively affect your health. In fact, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), VOCs can trigger eyes, nose and throat irritations, headaches, nausea and loss of coordination. Significant exposure can even lead to problems with kidney, liver and central nervous system.

Many people mistakenly believe that once your paint is dry and the smell is gone, chemicals too. However VOCs tend to focus on the inside and can persist in the air long after the painting is finished. To reduce this risk, consider choosing a non-toxic paint for the nursery and other rooms in your home. There are many advantages to using non-toxic paints:

• Easier cleaning Soap and water
• Easier disposal options
• Less odor during application and no odor usually once the paint is dry
• A shorter waiting period to fill the room safely
• Significant reduction in toxins released air

No toxic or natural paints
These paintings are produced by a variety of manufacturers and come in several options. Many of the paintings are now available in stores include home improvement as well as local specialty paint stores. As with many products organic, no federal official guidelines on labeling, so standards of VOCs can vary by manufacturer. Check the labels on the paint or ask your paint store specialist to clarify any questions. You can also search for the paintings that have the Green Seal certifications.

Type non-toxic paint

Low VOC: These paints use water instead of oil to carry the paint. To be considered low VOC paint can contain only 250 grams of VOC per liter. Similarly, the coatings are limited to 380 grams of VOC per liter. However, many reputable paint companies offer paintings, even with lower levels of VOCs. Look for Green Seal certification.

Zero VOC: These paintings still contain compounds volatile organic compounds, but are limited to less than 5 grams of VOC per liter.

Natural Paints: These paints are made solely safe with natural ingredients, including substances such as water, clay, chalk, vegetable dyes, natural latex and even milk and beeswax. You can search online paintings natives.

Decorating a baby nursery can be a loving way to prepare s for the arrival of his newborn. If your plans involve paint walls, the choice of natural or non-toxic paints are great way to reduce potential household toxins and give your baby the precious gift of healthy indoor air.
