Getting baby to sleep in his Crib?

My baby is one month old. My other son is 16 months old. My fellow 16 months old, sleeping with me until I was about 8 months old when he became very mobile and was afraid he had to crawl out of bed while he slept. I had problems to adapt to his crib because he slept in his crib if we were down at nap time and in the crib in your room if we were up or if the company was over nap time. My current living situation does not exactly allow my son to sleep with me again. We are temporarily living with my parents, and while my oldest son has a cot is required to sleep alone in the room, or not to sleep when she wakes up at night.
