Bonavita Crib

Where can I find the track of a child's crib Bonavita Carla?
I have a Bonavita crib and I'm in the need for the railing of the crib to Carla baby. In my opinion, the Hudson seems the exact same crib. However, the company says that the railway will not fit. It was discontinued in 2004. Any ideas where can I get the rail??? Thanks

When I was expecting my first child, I researched nursery furniture and finally settled on Bonavita because they had a reputation for quality furniture. Although their cribs cost much more than others I was considering, I opted to pay more for the Bonavita Cabana Lifetime Crib in Montego Brown because I planned to use this for my child’s permanent bedroom furniture. I paid $5000 for the set and was assured at the time I purchased it that I could buy the crib conversion set when my child was ready to transition into a toddler bed. That was a mere two years ago. When I tried to order the conversion kit, however, I was informed that the set had been discontinued and there was nothing comparable that I could use to change the crib to a bed. I was appalled that this could happen in a company with such a stellar reputation, so I proceeded to contact customer service to see if they could help me. After several futile attempts to find someone who would address my concerns, I was finally able to contact the customer service supervisor (Jane) who was quite rude and essentially told me that the set was no longer being made and there was nothing she could do about it. So much for a “Lifetime Crib”! I now find myself with $5000 worth of nursery furniture that I can no longer use because I don’t have a bed that will match it, and I have no recourse through Bonavita. I am quite irate, especially since last year I, purchased a second Bonavita set for my newborn daughter. I find it hard to believe that a customer who has spent nearly $10,000 with a company could be treated this shabbily. If I had been notified that the set I’d purchased was going to be phased out, I would have made it a point to purchase the conversion kit immediately. I never suspected the Bonavita Cabana would have been unavailable only two years after I’d purchased it. The Bonavita website touts the “timelessness” of its furniture – don’t bet on it! To Bonavita, “timeless” means less than two years!
