When should I take the changing table down?
My son just turned 1 on Tuesday and I want to take his changing table down. My husband seems to think its too early. (I do not like the fact that our son is growing) Our son is almost too big for him. When did you Childs made your down?
Our daughter is 14 months and still use the changing table. We keep her busy while you are on the table. While it has become more of a challenge, we are very cautious. If you do not leave your child unattended, it will not fall. I find it physically difficult to change a diaper on the floor or mattress. No only the soil of a place where he knows he can play, not easy to keep supplies on hand as the changing table. Our daughter knows that the changing table is for changes diapers and she is pretty good about keeping still enough to clean it. It has nothing to do with not wanting her to grow. It has everything to do with hygiene and comfort for all.

As a father is, its very easy to spend huge sums of money on child essential pieces of equipment you think you need to get through those first days. But it really has to wonder how essential are "essential"? Parents with young children will be more aware of how much money spent on baby equipment that is supposed to simplify and facilitate the process of parenting, but never actually used!
According to Most magazines for parents, one of the "essential" pieces of furniture that "every nursery should have" is a season of change. Before you go running at your local store or the baby in search of the cheapest online deal to get yours, save yourself the trouble, cost and effort of buying, using and a changing table and consider the following facts:
- Change your baby on a raised surface can be dangerous. The safest place to change your baby / Child is at ground level.
- A changing table / workstation can cost from £ 80 upwards, depending on whether you want to have a database table or one that matches a particular theme / brand.
- A changing table occupies valuable space in your nursery / bathroom
- A changing table is simply other surface that can harbor germs and should be cleaned regularly!
So what we basically want is a target = "_blank" Title = "diapering Mats> Baby Changing mat / waterproof sheet / towel for your child sit comfortably (on floor), a pack of wipes / cotton wool and water and, finally, a clean diaper.
