How long does a Bassinet really effective?
My boyfriend and I are expecting a baby on August 23. From now on we have a good size 2 bedroom apartment in South Carolina but plans to move to Washington state in December. In trying to find out what all to put in the nursery I decided instead buying a Convertible Crib / changer combo, to save money and space and only getting a bassinet for the moment. To me it makes more sense b / c we think of moving anyway within the next 4 months and can buy all that later. Im wondering though, how long is a bassinet effective? I've read that are good until about 6 months, is this true? Does the baby need the breadth of the crib at 4 months old? Advice please .... I DO plan on buying a convertible crib changer and matched, but the fact that we are moving in 4 months I would take as little as possible to travel across the country * *.
I used a bassinet for the three mine. Gread is to keep them in the room with you for the early months when a minute of sleep is better than nothing! Yes, they are large and safe until the baby is trying to turn around. I took mine out about 4-5 months as well .. I got tired of having it in the room me ... lol .. no .. well yes .. umm. I moved them when they started sleeping longer through the night. Otherwise you can not hear and want to achieve before they start wailing. A council .. out .. and if your family / friends visit say that the cost of entry is either food or cleaning .. and do not let anyone get sick near the baby! Who cares if you insult Congratulations!
