What is absolutely necessary to buy a newborn?
I am looking for real advice from real mothers here. I have no space in my apartment current crib / dresser / changing table so I need to know as a Mother, what were the things that I could not live without. Looking back, what most used and highly appreciated in caring for your newborn baby? After 5 months, my husband and I are moving to a new apartment has 2 bedrooms and will able to obtain the necessary elements. I appreciate your help as much as we are beginning to look at what to buy for our May date due. Sorry! Sidenote - My father is a woodworker and we are building the crib next to the bed most beautiful baby we can use until we move and are able to adapt to a crib. We will not co-sleep.
First, congratulations on the upcoming arrival:) I have 3 children, so I know what you're going. Here is my list: Baby diapers, wipes, lotion, soap and diaper rash cream Onesies (or shirt baby t) lightweight pajamas Footie socks Dreft detergent bottles for clothes and nipples that receive heavy blankets or quilts blanket Hope this helps. I put the Dreft in this list because I did not have baby wipes or towels. (That was so expensive). I set aside some of my own and washed in Dreft or Ivory chair. That softened them well. You will also need a relative or friend to buy the team shortly corny. Except you want to take the baby home, you do not have to worry about the computers until a later date if you had the little Footie pajamas and onesies with socks. Good luck and God bless:)
