Dr. Seuss theme of a baby room?
I do not know if a girl or boy, but I wanted to do with Dr. Seuss. Dr Seuss is more than one theme boy a girl? What other ideas are there? I do not want anything common, like Winne the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, sheep, ducks, baby things and animals.
I did not want my baby's gender either. I wanted the lovely surprise! I just decorated the room with soft muted colors like khaki, sage and cream. I started to go with a theme of Winnie the Pooh only because someone gave me a very nice Crib bed / curtains / etc. whole and would not buy another. I considered making the topic before Dr. Seuss. I think it definitely could be for a child. I had planned to make several colorful murals around the room and it would be fun. It also an issue that is not too childish for their new baby may get in the room without having to change the decor for a while. BTW, if money is no object, Pottery Barn has a beautiful selection of Dr. Seuss things - it's just too expensive! Well, my baby (Avary) was the most beautiful girl in the world (sorry, the title already taken so if yours is a child, you have to have another - LOL!) Avary is now 15 months old and last November we took a vacation to Hawaii. I have decided redecorate your room with a Hawaiian theme. I'm going to put palm trees in the corners, set flowers on the walls along with large flowers of brightly colored silk and I have some things while we were in HI. You can even block a mini-zip line at the top of the room and set it as she is a bit older than she can zip bit through their animals. I'm going to do some murals on the walls and ceiling. You could do something like that, with the collection of a country or an issue that means something for you or your family. (perhaps the country of nationality of his family, the place was a honeymoon, or something). I also like (thematic neutral): Safari / Themes of the Jungle, Circus is neutral, but I think it's a little creepy - not my thing, baby animals, Lion King, Clifford the Big Red Dog (I love Clifford), a subject Global maps on the wall - that sort of thing, I love the thing if the location.
