How does your dog react to a newborn?

We are expecting a baby in April and am a little worried about my dog. She is an Amer. Bulldog / Lab mix and full of energy. She will be about a year and a half at the time the baby comes. I worry that jump on / around the baby. Or feel left out. Or just going to destroy the baby's toys, blankets and things there. Any of these things worry before bringing home a new baby, and How The result?

You can begin to desensitize your dog to have a baby around. This can include CD playback babies crying, carrying a doll around, having a stroller, the creation of childcare and the establishment of rules for this. When you have the baby, bringing home a blanket that has been used and let the dog smell. You can enter the dog to other infants and children so used to the children and how to behave around them. It is better change the routine now, then when the baby arrives. If you do not want the dog on the furniture when you have the baby, take it out now. If you have any problem behavior, work with them. It is especially important to not go now, I do not want to jump on you when you have your baby. Do not exclude your dog in your life when the baby arrives. Let us be a part of things like food and change. She can be with you and your baby while you care for the baby. If your dog wants to be with the baby, left, but only so far. Do not let her be aggressive with the baby or try to control the baby. She must be content with only the occasional sniff, fondle and lick faster and well, and just be near the baby. Probably going to be very interested in the baby during the first few days, then you probably will get used to it and move ignore the baby.

Some babies have long crying spells, which typically occur in the afternoon and evening, and can last anywhere between two and four hours. Often Babies begin this pattern of persistent crying in about three weeks old, and have generally been developed from it by about three months. This pattern of crying known as colic, as the baby becomes increasingly upset and difficult to soothe, they often can pull the legs up and arch your back as if experiencing abdominal pain. In fact it is probably misleading to give a special name, since there seems to be no known cause of this pattern.
Getting through it

A baby who is constantly irritable easily can mourn in the past, not only at night. However, the pattern of the night crying can be a particular strain of the parents, especially if one or both of you have been working during the day. Maybe baby's senses and is reset to its weariness at this time. While this pattern of crying may last only three months, this period can seem endless for new parents who have to deal with the day of trouble for your baby after day. Try some of the tips to calm your baby and then help you through this difficult time.
Accepting help from others

Sometimes a crying baby can make parents who are tired of broken nights feel quite desperate that it's time to puff help. Did not you feel once you're failing as parents if we accept the assistance, countless other parents have felt so frustrated and exhausted as you because their children have cried much and was difficult to soothe. Jump to the opportunity, if the baby's grandparents or other friends or relations to offer care for your baby for a while to allow obtain on their own for a couple of hours to enjoy some uninterrupted sleep. If they do not offer any help, do not be afraid to ask. No need to feel guilty that will be delighted to have the opportunity to relieve you, and help you put things in perspective. It's a big help, too, to talk with health professionals or care of the baby, who are there to support you.
Comfort your older baby

As your baby grows and becomes more aware of their surroundings, change their pattern of crying, because it is not the only one who can communicate with you now. Their reasons to mourn will also be easier for you both predict and interpret. We will begin to distinguish between frustration, hunger, pain, or loneliness. Even when your baby is becoming more mobile and independent, the best way to comfort if she is happy with his company, hugging and cuddling.
Security Blankets

By their first birthday, many babies have become in attachment to an element of comfort including a favorite stuffed toy, a cloth or blanket that probably helps them sleep and can be caught when they feel a bit insecure and annoying. Other babies are attached to a pacifier or suck their thumbs. This is perfectly normal, and there is no point in distressing for your baby, eliminating the matter on the basis that is a bad habit, it is not. As your baby's confidence and independence develop after their first birthday, will gradually become less dependent on its object of security, although it may take a year or so. It's a good idea to have some spare parts in case the main washing needs.
Teething and crying

Your Baby teeth usually begin to come through about six months, so you boat a lot and gums occasionally get sore. Your baby may arrive to be somewhat grumbly when teething, and is usually pretty obvious if it is uncomfortable, she'll want to chew a lot and may have a red hot area on your check. However, there is always a good idea persistent crying blame teething, when your baby really can be boring, or even ill.
Troubleshooting

There are many reasons why an older child can mourn.

She is boring

Your baby may be bored mourn alone, can not hear his voice and has nothing to do or play. You are his favorite playmate, so where she can see you and you can talk to her and not leave for long periods of time alone in his Crib if he's crying. Some children play happily in their Cribs for a while after waking, so the toys and books at your fingertips.

Is frustrated

As your baby grows, your desire to do things beyond their ability to do them, and so frustrated and often set to mourn as a result. You can also mourn if he was not allowed to have something she wants. Change toys often-their attention span is still short. Find time for play with her.

She is afraid

In six months your baby will mourn when separated from you, and will be nervous of other people, even when she knows well. From the beginning, to expect to see out of the room and come back in again. In this way will gradually learn that she can trust you always return to it. Sure knows that many others before it gets to this stage and learns that even if you leave with someone else for a while, they always come back.

She is sick or hurt themselves

If it hurts your baby, you know at a time of mourn, but may be more difficult to tell when you are sick, what to do if your baby is sick or has an accident.
