How To Put Together A Crib

Need more space?!

I'm living in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a 2 year old daughter and are expecting our son at the end of this month, so my son and daughter will share a room. The crib has been put together by a couple of months, for my daughter to adjust, but we are getting things for baby, there is less space. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what type of storage of toys to use, where my daughter can have easy access and how perhaps to arrange the room for more space? My son will be in a Bassinet in the room until you can go to your crib. That is not the problem. Yes, I know they are young and not require much space, but do not want your room is messy and smashed all the time. Please only respond if you have any suggestions for ideas for save space. Thanks

First, I regret that so many idiots have given a turn around on their children sharing a room. My daughter is 8 years and when Cradle to put our 5 months. old is in his room. You do what you gotta do. She is the queen of the room and still all the flowers and horses. I do not think that our child will find nothing wrong with it for a couple of years. As for storage, which are really little space here. I just say what I do. We have a attic and put all the clothes do not fit up there (plastic tubs), my daughter's dresser in the bedroom and the toilet of my child (doubling as a changing table is in the living room. I keep all supplies of change in the top drawer and clothes in the middle two. Blankets, hats, socks and towels are in the bottom drawer. I hang all the clothes of her dress in my closet. We live in an old house for cabinets are like shoeboxes, but installed an additional bar at the top. Hang holders Jersey of the bar and fill them with toys and items that do not use today, but will need in the next stages. I have some toilet (IKEA / 3 drawers) at the bottom cabinet and contains all of my girls clothing and baby items. If something does not conform to what she has to decide (as she is older) they should be disposed of him. I have 3 little shelves with doors on them and do that in the living room. They have books in one, games and puzzles in another and in the 3 rd general elements of toy boxes cloth covers found on clearance at Target. If not all fit my daughter has to decide what is going to Freecycle or craigslist.com. When I was younger I just took decisions for her while she was asleep or away. As for all bulky items that seem to appear with a new baby (exersaucers, swings, mats, etc..) With my son I decided not to keep more than 2 out entertainment items at once. We now have a mat on the floor and a portable swing that moves from the room the room. Oh, I lied, I also use the Bumbo chair from room to room. I'm still deciding whether or not to return or let excersaucer replacing the portable swing. We feel this was a long answer, I hope that was helpful.
