Can not find the name of this artist! help!?

Okay, so I this work in my art class and I have to find the names or the memory of when we found out about the person. I have almost all the names, but this artist is impossible to find! So my only clue is the following: is a woman, who is British, is an optical illusion, of the 60 to 70 was art, she has 13 letters of his name (and surname) and ends with a "t". So please, please, please someone help me! All I remember of the things Ms. Cozzinni (my art teacher, ttly awesome) told us was that everything done on black and whites. I remembered her last name.
