Hi i my 5 month old has learned to crawl, and my house is wood floor is not a ..................... good combo! I've been using baby play mats so far, but with a roll will rest on the floor, luckily I'm always there to catch it before it hits head, but I am constantly afraid Incase you do when im not looking! Purchased my child to play a few years ago, not for the purpose of tracking them. It is very thick, but it is certainly soft enough that if a little one hits your head it will not hurt much. Falling and hitting his head might scare you why would cry more than anything when they "Hurt", but it's not going to hurt much. Your child must be good at them.
