If the crib safety net?

Everything we read is that a very firm mattress is better for the baby. I have a really good mattress, and just receiving a waterproof Mattress Pad, Sealy brand of my shower. Now it is safe to use? Is not add padding to the mattress that is supposed to bad? Just wondering

As long as everything is pulled as hard as possible, yes. It adds minimal extra padding, will not really a difference.
