Cot recalled several brands of entrapment, strangulation, suffocation and falls

Security Administration Consumer Product Commission (CPSC) has issued a series of crib recalls in recent years. The number of manufacturers and models is quite surprising given that the risks are similar, and still do despite their repeatedly stated in previous recalls.

In the table below are comments taken from the recall notices from the CPSC that indicate the types of hazards that were encountered and the reason for recall. Although not all risks caused incidents or injuries, the possibility of an accident is sufficient to require the manufacturer or provide a repair, replacement or refund. Furthermore, not all models of Cribs by the manufacturer any are necessarily implicated in these retreats. If you suspect that your crib can be defective, contact the manufacturer to see if it has been revoked, or has been other complaints about the same model.
