War - Low Rider (DJ Kue Remix) [HQ]
Removing wallpaper does not have to be a tedious project and terrible. Yes, it will take some time and some elbow grease, but if you follow these steps, the outcome will be the wallpaper and glue completely removed and then you can go paint the walls or hanging new wallpaper. First, have to figure out what kind of wallpaper you have. There are basically two types. Most new wallpapers are strippable while older wallpapers requires more manpower. I will show how to remove both.
Wallpaper strippable.
Tools Needed: hot water mixed with detergent, sponge, rubber gloves and a spatula painters.
To determine if your home is simple strippable wallpaper in a corner and see if they peel. Use your spatula to loosen and soften stubborn areas the queue using your sponge and a detergent solution. Once all the wallpaper is removed weeds from the wall completely sure that all glue is removed. A gallon of warm water with 2 cups of vinegar to make this easier. You can also use fabric softener solutions, different cleaners and detergents dish. You can experiment to see what works best for you.
Seniors do not segregate Wallpaper.
Tools needed: A tool drilling as a knife or pad of paper, bottle of wallpaper remover, hot water, painters spatula, spatula and spray or paint roller.
Before starting, make sure you have the furniture and carpet covered by a tarpaulin. Believe me, this is advice that I will not forget as removing wallpaper is a business dirty. Most wallpaper has a water repelling layer on top to protect it. Because of this you will have noted that top layer to loosen the glue using a knife or pad of paper (sometimes called a paper tiger). Using pattern scores crisscrossed the area to be removed. Do not cut too deep, because it can damage your wall. Mix the wallpaper remover according to the manufacturer's instructions (DIF is a good product removal wallpaper and I recommend). Use from a sprayer or paint roller wet and scored areas and 15 to 30 minutes for the liquid wall paper remover to soak in Next using your spatula or painters spatula scrape the strips of wallpaper off the wall. It is best to start small and work upward. The strips should come out without too much work. Continue working until remove all paper from all areas.
Once all the wallpaper is removed make sure to wash the area with a strong detergent mixed with hot water. Most likely there will be some minor repairs needed to the drywall. You may need caulking around windows, trim and areas roof. Once the plaster is completely dry you can sand the walls to remove the hard times. Make sure that dust from the walls when finished.
If you do not want to use the techniques listed above you could try using a steamer. Most rental shops or paint shops, for rent one. When using a steamer, make sure you work on smaller sections at a time. Once the wallpaper is loosened that you need to use your knife of great painters or spatula and eliminate work-up. Again, once we remove the paper will have to clean the walls as described above.
Once your walls are completely dry they are ready for painting or new wallpaper. Be sure to use a manual designed for that application. From the wallpaper is installed on the smooth walls that also would be a good time to think about the texture if you plan on painting the walls.
Now that is like removing wallpaper. Enjoy your new walls!
