Toddler bother to go to kindergarten?
My child is 2 years 9 months and started nursery two afternoons a week 4 weeks. I expected tears when I left him at daycare for a few weeks, but it is crying every day and keep repeating it will not do to kindergarten, he dislikes. Since I was a year that has passed two days a week with my parents, only during the day. He did well with this and hopes that his "nanny and grandfather days. Starting from the nursery crying constantly and wont even go see his grandparents. I'm about to go crazy and have no idea what to do. I sit with him now, as he repeated over and over again "I do not want to see the nanny and grandfather, I will not go to daycare, do not like toys Help, please! Daisyhill - I to return to work and my son is almost 3. In an ideal world would be with him 24 hours a day, but that is not possible
My daughter the same age and I just started in your nursery 3 weeks ago for two afternoons a week and she screams when I take the place .............. she says she does not like children and it breaks his heart to mourn. I just had to rush from place to mourn. It breaks my heart to do this and I considered just going back and having your house !!!!! I'm thinking it is too young for it yet, but at the same point that I think will make the world of good to be in kindergarten and learn to socialize with other children. I think what you and I to do is give you more time .......... I do not think we should give in. ............... if we wait until she went to daycare or school later then we must face the same thing then too. Kindergarten teachers said it takes time to get used to strange surroundings and strange people and that they established. I'm sure given time our children come to love. I'm in the same position as you and I think we should give more time ............... If you feel after a few weeks that your child is still not the solution then they have another think. xxx

After my second son arrived, I had it in my arms and my husband and I looked at him with love, as my daughter watched. My son and said: "I think it must remain a small family. "That's when I realized. We did not do enough to prepare my older child for the arrival of his brother.
The good news is that I have some suggestions for you on how to make the addition of a new brother a time of sharing and togetherness between you and your first child.
Brother Tummy Time
Since starting to show in your pregnancy, let your child feel that the developing baby, and leave to start a relationship from the beginning. Encourage your little singing songs, telling jokes, explain the rules of the house, talk about your day or say what comes to mind.
Family Ultrasound Visit
If possible, your little one along an ultrasound. Imagine the excitement that everyone will feel as you see the little addition development! The miracle of birth is a celebration for the whole family to share.
Tennis expected delivery date
Learn A special calendar and circle the date of expiry of the new baby. Let your child make an X every day as they pass. This is a good way to spend a little of time each day that allows your child to talk about how they feel and what they are thinking about this impending change in family structure.
Books about a new baby
There are excellent children's books written to help in this transition. (These, incidentally, make an excellent baby gift in a shower for a woman with a child at home.) Make a special date and take your child to the library and read together. Your little one feel important, and acknowledge the feelings sometimes confused, are universal.
Helping in the nursery of Design
Are you creating a nursery? If so, let your child help. Suggest color selection is best left to adults. Do not make the same mistake I did and suffer years of Cotton Candy yellow at home. If the two are going to share a room, make sure that the oldest child has a say in how space is organized, and where the baby equipment and clothing may fix.
Roll Play Baby Doll
Practice with a doll-size. Allow your child to change and bathe the wrist, and tuck it into the cradle. Explain this is what we do when the baby comes home. This is also a good opportunity to discuss how babies are totally dependent on others for care, as in time consuming this is and how big you are helping a brother or sister can be!
Brother Early Changes of Schedule
If you are planning a schedule change after the baby comes (day, more time with his grandmother, preschool, etc.) that prior to the start baby's arrival. This will allow the adjustment to be made before the big event. Your child does not feel as if he or she is being pushed aside by the arrival of the baby.
Gift for new baby
The arrival of a new small is often an occasion for a baby gift. It's fun go on a shopping trip to choose a baby gift for the new brother or sister who is only his eldest son. Make a play time for wrapping.
Gift for Big Brother or sister
And as long as it is a baby gift, be sure to select something wonderful and engrossing to his eldest son in celebrating the new role of Big Brother or Big Sister. Give them just before the baby comes, and does double duty as a way to entertain during those first days when the baby is so long.
