Three day eventing is one of the toughest events in the world of sports. It is a supreme test of the relationship between horse and rider, agility, strength and endurance of the couple, and their courage and bravery under pressure. Not only is a three-day event physically exhausting, but mentally demanding as well. A broker must know their courses and thus be able to pace himself and his horse in order to achieve success. The precision and grace must match that of a world class dancer, while at the same time as the horse and rider pair must display the daring of extreme sports.
What is the three-day eventing? What makes it so difficult, and what are the prizes for first class cyclists hope to win? Three day eventing consists of three separate events that occur during a period of three days.
The first element of the event is dressage test. The test Dressage is a specific routine that the horse and rider must run as well possible. The tests are designed to include different postures and movements of the horse. Riders make a ring with the letters to make certain places in the ring. Each step of the routine must be done in a certain place and the test must be done as prescribed. Judges and experienced pilots know exactly what to look for in a dressage test. This section of the three-day event tests the beauty of movement and obedience of the horse to the rider.
The second day is the cross-country jumping element. A cross-country is composed of permanent barriers such as brick walls, sturdy wooden fences, and water-filled ditches. Before the pilot course to walk through obstacles, but the horse will have no previous experience with the course. Many consider this event as the crux of the three days as confidence the horse the rider is more essential in this element. Knowledge of a cyclist, rhythm, speed and endurance of the horse, and animal obedience are tested in the course.

This is the only event in the Americas which is a four star event. Four star events are the same level of competition that the World Championships and Olympic Games. The prize for the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event is $ 200,000, plus a Rolex watch.
An even greater aspirations for a driver is to win the Rolex Grand Slam Competition Complete. To win the $ 250,000 prize, the pilot must make three separate events. The first is the case in Kentucky, followed by two world-class events in England in May and September. To win three consecutive orders to win the Rolex Grand Slam prize.
